Air Asia X Re-route from Tianjin to Beijing

1. Route change
Current flight schedule
Kuala Lumpur - Tianjin - Kuala Lumpur

New flight operation commences 22nd June 2012, new schedule as below:
Kuala Lumpur - Beijing - Kuala Lumpur

2.  Recovery options

All affected Guest(s) who purchased flights on the 22 June 2012, will be offered the following options:
  1. Re-route from Tianjin (TSN) to Beijing (PEK) to/from Kuala Lumpur for free.
    Note: Guests are allowed to choose any earlier or later flights than original flights depending on seat availability.
  2. A full refund of fare(s) paid or Online Credit Shell to be used for any other flights, including connecting flight.
  3. Guest(s) can change flight dates within 90 days from the scheduled departure date. The seat(s) for selected flights are subjected to availability.
If there is any subsequent flights on AirAsia that are affected, Guest(s) may also change to other flights that in line with Guest's planned trip. The seat(s) for selected flights are subjected to availability.

3.  Notification

AAX Customer Service will send out individual notifications on 11 May 2012 (Friday) to affected Guests to inform them about the re-route, and outline the various services and recovery options available. AAX Customer Service will respond based on their respective flight dates. We will give priority to Guests with closer flight date when assisting. This exercise will only take effect on 20 May 2012.

Note: Customer Service will refer to Guest's member profile to contact the affected Guest, All Guests are advised to update their member profile to make sure the contact numbers and email are correct and active. You are encouraged to share this message with your affected friends and/or family if you know of any.
 

4.   If I would like to know more about Tianjin-Beijing re-route matter before I received the notification, what can I do?

If affected Guests have any inquiry about the interim prior to receiving their service recovery notifications, Guests can contact us via any channels below:

5.  What is the recovery option if I already purchased AirAsia's connecting flight?

Our Customer Service will re-allocate your flight We will give priority to the Guests with closer flight date, depending on the flight seat availability.

6.  If 22 June 2012 falls in between your travel period, you may travel into/out of Tianjin before 22nd June 2012 and return into/out of Beijing on/after the mentioned date.
