Finally, I able to grab 4 KL-Beijing &  4 Beijing-KL ticket for my group.

Total RM495 each, I can say not the cheapest fare (CNY828 / RM408) in AAX system, but is the cheapest fare we can get it in Malaysia.

Every time there is new route promotion, the booking system will have some bug or system error for you to save some money.

Let see what is the booking strategy this round:
Do plan your travel period from Feb 2013 to May 2013. WHY ?

This is because from now until Jan 2013, most of the seats are reserve for Tianjin re-route to Beijing guests. There will be limited lowest fare ticket for you.

Try to avoid below date which is hi-lite in red. Because these date are public holiday for Malaysia & China. As usual, limited lowest fare ticket.

As posted on the Simple Tour Facebook page, please book KL-Beijing-KL ticket separately for lower fare. Mean, book 1 way only.

BUT, if you book Beijing-KL-Beijing, pls book it together. WHY ! WHY ! WHY !
I will explain on below post.

You will see that the ticket for KL-Beijing is RM249, Beijing-KL is RM344.
So Total is RM594 if you book return ticket.

When you book 1 way for KL-Beijing, it is RM249.

And you book separately again for 1 way Beijing-KL, it is CNY499

Or RM245.79 (Conversion rate RM1 = CNY 2.03)

Total is RM249 + RM245.79 = RM495.
Compare to the return ticket RM593.
You already save RM98

** Simulation is base on same date same flight #
Hint: As advertise, AAX offer KL-Beijing RM249, Beijing-KL CNY499. If you can't get this price, mean system have some bug.


How to get lowest fare (CNY828 / RM408) in AAX system ?
Oops... the lowest fare ONLY given to Beijing or China peoples. Why !!!

If you book return ticket for Beijing-KL-Beijing, you will entitle to enjoy the lowest fare which is CNY828.

When I try for 1 way KL-Beijing (same date same flight # as above), it is CNY506 (RM249).
The system will automatic switch it to offer price.

For this KL & Beijing now route, the fuel surcharge is RM70

In summary, if your total ticket price, either book 1 way or book return is :

1) CNY828 / RM408 - Congratulation, you are so lucky, it is the lowest price.

2) RM495 - Congratulation, you are lucky too, even you can't get RM408 due to system limitation.

3) RM593 - Too bad, you let Air Asia X earn extra RM98. May be you are not familiar to book separately.
